Who we are
Beveragino is a trading name of Grespi Technology Ltd (company no. 15148523), Level One, 86 Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill, England, IG9 5BS. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@beveragino.wine.
What we collect
- When you join the list or reserve a case: your email address, and if you give them your name, phone number, the case or budget you chose and any notes. We also record that you confirmed you're 18 or over, and whether you asked for marketing emails.
- How you found us: with the form you submit, we store the campaign tags and
Google click identifiers that were in the link you arrived on (such as
utm_sourceorgclid), the page you landed on and the website that referred you. This tells us which adverts and channels work. - If you create an account or order: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash) or Google sign-in details, delivery address and order history. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Cookies: see our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- Telling you about the launch and following up your reservation — you asked us to (consent, and steps at your request before a contract).
- Sending occasional offers and new arrivals — only if you ticked the box (consent). Withdraw any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing us.
- Fulfilling orders, and checking you're old enough to buy alcohol — contract, and legal obligation under the Licensing Act 2003.
- Measuring which adverts bring people to us — legitimate interests for the campaign details stored with your form; consent for advertising cookies.
Google Ads and enhanced conversions
If you accept advertising cookies and then join the list or reserve, our Google tag tells Google Ads that a sign-up happened. It sends a one-way, scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) copy of your email so Google can match the sign-up to an ad click. Google acts as our processor for this and doesn't use it to target you. Alcohol is a sensitive category, so we don't use your data for remarketing or to build advertising audiences. If you reject cookies, nothing is sent.
Who we share it with
We use these providers to run the service, under contracts that protect your data:
- Vercel — website hosting
- Neon — our database (hosted in London, UK)
- Resend — sending email
- Stripe — card payments
- Google — advertising measurement and analytics, only with your consent
- PostHog — cookieless site analytics (hosted in the EU)
- Our delivery partners — your name and address, once you order
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- List sign-ups and reservations: until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after launch if we haven't heard from you.
- Orders and invoices: 6 years, as tax law requires.
- Accounts: until you ask us to delete yours.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@beveragino.wine and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Over-18s only
We sell alcohol, so our site and mailing list are for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that we hold data about someone under 18, we delete it.
